Ecologists have been fighting a losing battle in Italy for years but the tide has turned and Italians are pitching in to make others more sensitive to the problems and try to solve them. As we discover sites devoted to ecology we will add them.

- Whales
Wonky for whales? This site is for you. An Italian whale-loving group has created a sanctuary for whales in the area of the Med between Liguria, the French Cote d'Azur, and Corsica. Hundreds of Baelenoptera Physalus whales inhabit the area and their activities are documented on this web. http://www.battibaleno.it
