Italian movies have fascinated and charmed the world, and have contributed words to our language such as "paparazzo" and "Fellini-esque" to describe photographers who roam the streets and a situation full of fantasy and surrealism. The large Hollywood productions that created legends in the nineteen fifties at Cinecitta' have returned today, and visitors to Rome, Tuscany, and other parts of Italy never know when they will stumble across a soundstage in the middle of a piazza or the countryside.
